Psalm 41

This is a great messianic psalm which not only reflects Jesus' ridicule and suffering, but is also a prophecy about Judas, the son of perdition, as well as Christ's resurrection and perpetual position before the Father.

Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted,Who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.But You, O Lord, be merciful to me and raise me up, That I may repay them. (vs. 9-10)

As for me You uphold me in my integrity, and set me before Your face forever. (v.12)

Also, verse 11 alludes to the fact that the resurrection is proof that Jesus' sacrifice was accepted and pleasing.

If it wasn't, He would have stayed dead!
