"The Lord is known by the judgement He executes." v.16
This is a profound statement; to realize that we can gain insight into the nature of God by examining His judgments.
Exodus 7:5 says that He executes judgments so that people will understand who He is.
But it is not only His punitive judgments that reveal Him. All of His judgments reveal things about Him to us.
Judgments of justice, mercy, compassion, grace, patience, love.
Many of His judgments highlight a particular characteristic of His.
To see these most clearly, one needs to look no further than the dialog and teaching of Jesus.
